Prize-winning photographer Juergen Teller was born in 1964 in Germany. He started out as a fashion photographer for i-D, The Face and W magazines while also developing his photographic sensibility as an artist. He continues to be one of the most sought-after ad campaign photographers. His photography is an uncontrived, pared-down, caughtoff-guard view of the world.

Whether revealing the person within, or a landscape observed in a totally new way. Over 20 books of his work exist; he has also shot campaigns for around 40 top fashion brands, album covers for over 20 bands, and as an artist has had around 35 solo shows, and participated in over 40 group shows. He lives part of the time in Suffolk with his partner Sadie Coles.
