A photographer, Johnnie Shand Kydd has strong ties to Suffolk, where he was brought up and where his mother still lives, and he spends a lot of time here. Renowned as the photographic chronicler of the YBA artists, he is also an artist in his own right, having recently completed a show based on the city of Naples. His book, Crash (Damiani), chronicles the late Nineties era when many of his fellow artists were coming to prominence. Johnnie Shand-Kydd is represented by White Cube.
