R Y A N_ G A N D E R

Ryan Gander is an artist living and working in London and Suffolk. He studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam and the Jan van Eyck Akademie, Maastricht. Recent projects include Locked Room Scenario, (Artangel, London), Really Shiny Things That Don’t Mean Anything, (Trybuna Honorowa, Warsaw), ILLUMInations (Venice Biennale), Intervals (Guggenheim Museum, New York) and The Happy Prince (Doris C. Freedman Plaza, New York).

Recent solo shows have been held at gb agency, Paris; Fondazione Morra Greco, Napoli; Maison Hermès, Tokyo; Jörg Johnen Galerie, Berlin; Annet Gelink Gallery, Amsterdam and Okinawa Prefectural Museum, Okinawa. A monograph by the artist, entitled Catalogue Raisonnable Vol: 1 was co-published by JRP|Ringier and Thea Westreich/Ethan Wagner Publications.
